For learning Thai there are useful resources on the internet, for example BananaThai on YouTube

This project will have what I find useful, to break through into being able to correctly pronounce printed Thai. I can already glance at the letters then look away and write them out neatly and I know the names. I can use a Thai keyboard fairly fast. That is such an achievement that I don't want to give up.
