Volunteers Wanted
Example 1. A foriegn student or tourist walks into a shop and asks to buy something. What if the shop keeper says something unexpected or God forbid, it's an Australian serving. Short videos using different individuals could overcome the inhibitions of a foreign language student. How many scenarios might that take, before someone has heard enough accents and variations on what might be said, to feel comfortable?
Example 2. A training video will instill a sequence of events better, if different people take you through the same steps.
The actual ideas cannot go to market until they have enough recordings. Obviously no-one wants to discuss them. Whether they would ever make money is an open question. Anyone recorded for a phone app, computer program or DVD, is going to be out there forever.
On the upside, here is how the finances might work...
For a phone app, Google or Apple take 30% of the sales. Whatever is left is divided. Although there might be a lot of people involved, the target market is world wide. If you like the experience, no doubt there will be more opportunities. Including to record other people.
Understand that you would be working for free with no guarentee of money, speculating that an idea might work and being willing to invest your time. You will be trusting that should things work, you will be rewarded equitably. See Richard Branson's quote.
